- Texas Railroad Commission
The TRRC website has a large amount of information, including an entire section dedicated to oil and gas. This section includes announcements, applications and permits, compliance and enforcement, district offices, environmental cleanup programs, events, forms, major oil & gas foundations, publications and notices, research and statistics, and complaints.
- Oklahoma Corporate Commission
The OCC website, among other things, also includes an entire section just for information regarding oil and gas. Within this section of the website, you can find annual reports, details on their “brownfields” program, databases, data files, the different departments, district offices, forms, publications, and rules.

If you have ever wondered what someone else was referring to when they used an acronym like BOP or NGL, check out this glossary of oil and gas terms.

West Texas Intermediate’s oil prices per barrel, updated frequently.
